LAND BASED SERVICES

CSU undertakes a wide range of land based projects, here is an example: installing replacement steel piles to support pipelines crossing a gully where the original wooden piles were failing.

20-inch pipeline damaged section replacement Galveston Bay

Removed 300-foot section of pipe & recovered to surface, conducted metrology and completed fabrication on replacement spool piece. Installed 300-foot spool complete with check valve and closing spool. Pressure tested the new assembly sucessfully and installed articulated concrete mats there after the line was returned to service.

Repair of Damaged 22-inch Pipeline

A crack in a line weld on a 22-inch pipe had affected the line's integrity. CSU had to first evacuate an area of marine bottom under the pipe to gain access. The pipe was then cleaned to bare metal and the weld inspected with shearwave ultrasonics which confirmed the defect. Finally the 22-inch pressure repair clamp was installed and the pipeline was re-supported.

Preparing for a dive

We have recently completed the consolidation of our Kansas office with the CSU Gulf Coast facility in Crosby Texas. We are in the process of building a 11,250 square foot warehouse to store and maintain our growing stock of equipment, this in conjunction with the formation of a land based division to further service customer requirements.

We will continue to be a leading provider of diving services primarily to the oil and gas industry in the onshore, near shore and offshore gulf coast area. Our company specializes in underwater pipeline inspection, maintenance and repair, and also offer a full range of diving and other operational support for a wide variety of customers. We operate a 24-7 call-out service when requested.
